Description: Wade Boggs auto. professional model cleats and batting gloves from 3,000th Hit Season. Nike Zoom Air model cleats feature Boggs' number "12" embroidered on the tongues. Size 11.5 cleats show moderate use incl. dirt remnants in spikes. Accompanying pair of Franklin batting gloves each have Boggs' number "12" written in black marker at the base of the thumbs. Glove shows extensive usage wear and soiling. Both the cleats and batting gloves were used by Boggs in 1999 as a member of the Devil Rays in the season in which he garnered his 3,000th career hit. Boggs has signed all four pieces with his added notation "Game Used 3,000 Hit Season".
