Description: 1954 Jim McDonald New York Yankees home jersey. Pinstriped flannel jersey was originally issued to pitcher Jim McDonald as a member of the 1954 Yankees. Jersey displays a navy blue "NY" logo on the front with #18 on the reverse. Both the "NY" and "18" have been restored after having been changed in the period by a Minor League club. "18 J.McDonald" is chain stitched onto the tail front with Spalding/size 44 tags affixed to the collar area. Wash tag with "Set 1 1954" flag tag is inside the tail. The shirt shows evident use including soiling to the right sleeve and a small hole to the left sleeve. Vestiges of the Minor League team logo and number change are visible under the NY and #18.
