Description: ***UPDATED DESCRIPTION*** Rare Stan Musial professional model baseball bat c.1946-49. Note, factory records indicate the first shipment of this model bat on 7-19-46 thru the 1949 season. The earliest this bat could have been used was july 1946; therefore the bat is not a rookie era. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 34 1/2" long and weighs 33.2oz. The bat exhibits excellent usage incl. ball marks, cleat marks, surface wear, and a light handle crack which has been professionally repaired. M117 model number is stamped on the knob end. Musial has autographed the barrel end in black sharpie to the right of his facsimile signature stamping.
