Description: Alexander Joy Cartwright handwritten letter. Dated February 26, 1879 and written to Cartwright's brother Benjamin in New York, the offered letter is an "onion skin" copy of the original. Written on generic subject matter, the first page has a small corner chip at lower right, and the second page with the Cartwright "signature" is fairly clean with a few surface punctures from age/fragility.
