Description: Spalding baseball bat display rack c.1910-15. Wooden "A" frame rack was used to showcase Spalding model bats in sporting goods departments. Top rail has "Base Ball Bats" lettering stenciled boldly in black on both sides and remains in original condition. The rack itself retains its (36) original wrought iron bat hooks allowing for display of (18) bats per side. The rack once displayed a Spalding marquis sign at the top, of which only a scant few original examples remain in existence. Overall height is 62" tall remaining in strong general condition with "A.G. Spalding" stamped on almost all side and center slats. Fine period baseball related display piece which nicely showcases the most advanced baseball bat collection: EXEstimated Price Range: ($5,000-$7,000)
