Description: Rare Ford Frick single signed baseball. Lightly toned Spalding "Amherst-Williams 1959 Centennial" commemorative model baseball is signed in blue ink across a side panel. Signature rates 7/8 out of 10. The ball itself remains fairly clean overall with a small green surface mark on one side panel and a few very minor age spots on another panel. Frick served as National League President from 1934-1951 and subsequently as the Commissioner of Baseball from 1951-1965. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1970 and passed away in 1978. Single signed examples from the former Commissioner are seldom offered and highly desirable. Includes LOA from JSA: Ball: EX, Signature: EX/MT-NMEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$1,500)
