Description: Paul Waner professional model baseball bat c.1926-31. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 34" long and weighs 39oz. The bat presents handsomely with a deep, rich brown patina and heavy evident use including ball marks, stitching impressions, grain swelling, and a professionally repaired handle crack. Pronounced lathe marks are visible on both barrel and knob ends with Hillerich & Bradsby stampings and player facsimile signature stampings remaining quite bold. Exceptional vintage game bat from one of the premier batsman of the 1920-30s era and one of more elusive bats to acquire of the vaunted 3,000 hit club.
