Description: 1977 New York Yankees World Series Championship trophy presented to Bucky Dent. Desirable figural trophy was presented to Bucky Dent for his efforts during the Yankees 1977 World Series Championship season. The piece stands 12" tall with brass band encircling the base which is inscribed, "1977 World Champions, New York Yankees." A full roster of players and related personnel are noted below. Set atop are a pair of enameled World Series press pins, flags representing each Major League team, and small figural baseball in band with crown. In fine overall condition with a few minor scattered nicks. The 1977 Yankees ended a (15) year drought bringing home a World Series title with a power packed roster that included Reggie Jackson and Thurman Munson. The following year Bucky Dent would solidify his place in Franchise history hitting his famed playoff home run as New York claimed their second consecutive Championship.
