Description: 1977 Bucky Dent autographed World Series professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with "1977 - World Series…New York Yankees" and a Bucky Dent facsimile signature impressed in the barrel measures 34" long. There is some mild scattered surface wear and it is signed "Bucky Dent 77 - WS -" in marker rating 8-8/9 out of 10. Dent had joined the Yankees just prior to the 1977 season and would prove an integral part of the team which brought the first World Series Championship to the Bronx since 1962. He provided timely hitting and steady defense to the winning effort. Few 1977 World Series bats have entered the market in recent years and the offered makes for an outstanding display piece having been made for one of their star players.
