Description: Mickey Mantle autographed original illustration artwork by Leo O'Mealia c.1950s. Very well executed portrait likeness done on 10.75"x13.25" artist's stock paper. The mark of noted illustrator Leo O'Mealia who was on staff with the New York Daily News appears at lower right (in the form of a small lion). Presumably done in the mid to late 1950s given the caption which suggests Mantle had just hit his 31st home run of the respective season (he met or surpassed that number from 1955 through 1959 - O'Mealia passed in May of 1960). Signed "Mickey Mantle" within the lower border in ink rating 9/10 out of 10. Touch of light natural age and handling wear. Includes auction LOA from JSA: Sig.
