Description: Early Rawlings Princeton style flat top leather football helmet c.1910s. Desirable style with flat top crown consisting of a single piece of leather affixed by (4) anchor points. Body is comprised of two pieces of leather which each have an ear flap cut in complete with ventilation holes. Interior padding is intact. Faint Rawlings mark can be discerned but it a bit hard to make out. Use and age related wear with some flaking/crazing to the surface: VGEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$1,500)
