Description: 1908 Andy "Peaches" Nelson autographed Chicago White Sox player's contract counter signed by Charles Comiskey and Ban Johnson with additional. Original player's contract as executed between the Chicago White Sox and Nelson covering his terms of employment for the 1908 season. He appeared in (2) games and there is otherwise very little known of time in baseball or otherwise. Contract is dated February 15, 1908 and has been signed "Andrew A. Nelson" with Hall of Fame team owner Charles Comiskey likewise signing above. Ban Johnson, then President of the American League, appears on back. All are done in fountain pen rating 8 out of 10 or better. Light handling and storage wear along with a touch of toning (slightly more pronounced in areas) and typical folds. Also includes a second contract which was tendered to player Peter Nolden whom never made a Major League roster. This contract has the lower portion, where Nolden and Comiskey signatures would have been, removed. It is signed on the by Ban Johnson. Includes auction LOA from JSA: Sig.
