Description: 1907 Fielder Jones autographed Chicago White Sox player's contract counter signed by Charles Comiskey and Ban Johnson: Tough autograph and T-206 Player subject. Original player's contract as executed between the Chicago White Sox and Jones covering his terms of employment for the 1907 season. He had been player/Manager of their 1906 World Series Championship team and enjoyed a lengthy career in the Major Leagues including time spent with the Brooklyn Superbas and Federal League St. Louis Terriers. His early death in 1934 has left a shortage of his autograph in the marketplace and desirability is strong given his inclusion on that 1906 roster and in the landmark T206 baseball card set. Contract is dated January 2, 1907 and has been signed "F. A. Jones" with Hall of Fame team owner Charles Comiskey likewise signing above. Ban Johnson, President of American League, has signed the back. All are done in fountain pen rating 8 out of 10 or better. Light handling and storage wear along with a touch of toning (slightly more pronounced in areas) and typical folds. Includes auction LOA from JSA: Sig.
