Description: 1907 James Freeman autographed Chicago White Sox player's contract counter signed by Charles Comiskey Original player's contract as executed between the Chicago White Sox and Freman covering his terms of employment for the 1907 season. He did not land up making the roster that year. Contract is dated January 4, 1907 and has been signed "James C. Freeman" with Hall of Fame team owner Charles Comiskey likewise signing above. What appears to be a secretarial example of Ban Johnson, President of American League, appears on the back. All are done in fountain pen rating 7/8 out of 10 or better. Light handling and storage wear along with a touch of toning (slightly more pronounced in areas) and typical folds. Includes auction LOA from JSA: Sig.
