Description: Lot of (26) Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs related photographs. Nice selection of photography which (nearly all) relates to the Chicago White Sox. There are some pieces which were issued in the period during which the image was taken, some which appear vintage but date to a later period, and others which are modern prints. Most measure 8"x10". A sampling of nicer vintage photos includes photo of Charlie Grimm and Bill Veeck Sr. with 1932 dated paper caption on the back; vintage photo of Joe McCarthy as Cubs Manager with a young fan; photo of Bill Veeck and William Harridge with 1947 dated paper caption affixed; image of Bill Veeck and Al Lopez related to the 1960 World Series (dated paper caption on back); photo of Bob Lemon and Lou Boudreau at the 1948 World Series (later print) with International News stamp on back; several pieces which appear to show scenes of the Indians celebrating in 1948 (some with stampings on back however all likely issued in later period); and others.
