Description: 1958 Jim Kaat Pioneer League All Star trophy with other early career pieces. Figural trophy (11" tall) has a metal placard affixed to the base which reads, "1958 Pioneer League All Star Jim Kaat." Kaat won (16) games for the Missoula Lumberjacks that season and would make his Major League debut the following year. Touch of light wear; unsigned 1959 Jim Kaat Chattanooga Minor League contract and July 1959 dated (unsigned) notice of transfer to Washington document; team photo of the 1957 Superior Senators including Kaat.
