Description: Rare April 3, 1989 Ken Griffey Jr. autographed and date inscribed Major League Debut ticket stub (PSA VG-EX 4 with 10 autograph). Original ticket stub issued for the Mariners vs. Athletics game played in Oakland in which Ken Griffey Jr. made his historic MLB debut. He would remain a fixture in the game for the next (2) decades and along the way played some of the most exciting baseball of a generation. Interest in all things Griffey related has always been high and the PSA population report noting that they have authenticated and encapsulated only (12) autographed stubs from this game speaks to the rarity of this ticket. The offered example is graded VG-EX 4 (exceptional appearance for the grade and we can only presume that there is a minute surface imperfection which cannot be seen through the holder) with the signature a perfect "10." It was recently discovered within a long time Athletics collection where it has sat since the owner attended the game. Signed earlier this year with a rare "4-3-89" inscription.
