Description: Kirby Puckett autographed professional model baseball bat c.1987-89 (PSA/DNA GU 8). Louisville Slugger 125 model C243 bat with Puckett facsimile signature in the barrel measures 34.5" long and weighs 32.8oz. Player number "34" is written on the knob in marker. Strong use is evident throughout with the hitting surface showing nice wear including ball and embedded stitch marks. Handle has a nice coat of pine tar and a small crack has been expertly repaired. Some minor surface wear is noted and while not attributed to Puckett’s use, in our opinion serves to enhance display value. Signed "To Lloyd MC - Your Buddy, Kirby Puckett #34" in silver marker rating 7/8 out of 10. The recipient having been former player and manager Lloyd McClendon. The 1987-89 time period was among the productive of Puckett's Hall of Fame career. He lead the American League in hits during each of those seasons and claimed three consecutive Silver Slugger Awards.
