Description: Gary Carter professional model baseball bat c.1984-85 (PSA/DNA "GU 9"). Louisville Slugger 125 model P89 bat with Carter facsimile signature in the barrel measures 34.75" long and weighs 31.1oz. Player number "8" is written on either end in period marker. Uncracked with evidence of nice use throughout including ball and contact marks to the hitting surface along with some blue rack streaks. Heavy coat of pine tar remains on the upper handle. Carter was in the heart of his Hall of Fame career during the 1984-85 span and would win Silver Slugger Awards for his offensive play during both of those seasons.
