Description: Early career Ryne Sandberg autographed professional model baseball bat c.1984-86 (PSA/DNA "GU 9"). Louisville Slugger 125 model B267 bat with Sandberg facsimile signature in the barrel measures 34" long and weighs 31oz. Player number "23" is written on the knob in vintage marker along with a model number notation. Very nice use is evident throughout including ball marks to the hitting surface and there is a hint of grain swelling. Also visible are cleat and a few rack marks. Nice coat of pine tar remains on the handle which has a very small crack. Signed in marker (period signature style) rating 8 out of 10. A fantastic early career example dating to the era in which Sandberg was named the National League MVP (1984) and earned a pair of Silver Slugger Awards.
