Description: Mike Schmidt autographed Philadelphia Phillies Rookie-era professional model hat c.1973 Classic style done in red has a "P" team logo embroidered on the front and a matching white button accent. "Wilson Professional Cap" tag is on the interior band noting size (7 1/2). Player number "20" is written under the brim in period marker and Schmidt later signed the hat to one side "Mike Schmidt" (8 out of 10). Nice use with appropriate staining to the band. There are a few moth holes in the crown. After making his debut in 1972 Schmidt joined the Phillies full time for the 1973 season and by the following year was putting up All-Star worthy numbers. He would spend the entirety of his career playing in Philadelphia and remains on the most beloved players in Franchise history.
