Description: Fine New York Yankees (Highlanders) large format team photograph c.1911. Outstanding sepia tone photograph showing team members posed in Hilltop Park wearing home uniforms. It appears that star first baseman Hal Chase stands in back row, fifth from the right. On a period mount with image having a few minor flaws (most notable being some surface scratches near the lower edge. Mount has an area of toning around the image and a small spot of surface loss between the image and an affixed paper identifier. Discoloration can be seen to the lower right corner and there is a small nick on the left edge. Framed to 16.5"x19.5" for display and the photo itself measures 10"x14": Photo EX-EX/MT, Mount GD-VGEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,250)
