Description: 2002 John Smoltz Atlanta Braves professional model road jersey (SGC/Grob "Excellent"). Road gray jersey has "Braves" team name across the front. Number "29" appears on back below a "Smoltz" nameplate. Russell Athletic tag on the front tail with size (50) and custom length flag tags. A "2-02" printed strip tag denotes set number and year. Light evident use consistent with what one would expect from a relief pitcher, a role he had transitioned to after injury a few seasons prior. Smoltz notched a career high (55) saves for Atlanta in 2002 propelling the team to an NL East Championship. A fine representation from one of the most feared pitchers during his prime.
