Description:Fine Lou Gehrig handwritten letter c.1930s (PSA/DNA NM 7). Handwritten letter filling a sheet of "The Shoreham…Washington, D.C." stationary has been signed "Best Wishes, Lou Gehrig." Contents reads "Thanks for your kind letter which arrived late. Sorry, but they have taken away the ball players privilege of inviting guests three years ago." Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA with the autograph graded NM 7. Paper displays light even toning with typical mailing folds. While undated the letter was clearly written to a fan during Gehrig's time with the Yankees.
