Description: Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig autographed baseball c.1928: Dated July 4th and inscribed "Washington" (PSA/DNA "4" overall). Red and blue stitched Reach E.S. Barnard Official American League baseball has been signed on the side panel, "To Joseph Rebentish, Washington D.C., From Babe Ruth." Just to his right is a "Lou Gehrig" signature. The Ruth has been graded "5" by PSA with Gehrig a "3", averaging to a grade of "4" overall. The date "7/4/28" is written on in unknown hand. The Yankees played a doubleheader against the Senators on that day winning one game and losing the other. Ball displays mild even toning with well defined stampings.
