Description: Scarce “New York Sporting Times” pictorial scorecard c.1890s. Rare color lithographic scorecard is beautifully designed with the colorful front incorporating images of John Ward, King Kelly, Jack Glasscock, Cap Anson, Buck Ewing, John Clarkson, and Charles Comiskey. These were some of the greatest stars of the period and all but (1) are now members of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Overall condition is exemplary with clean surfaces and the scorecard portion is unused. In addition, the piece has never been folded and is very likely unique (among only a small handful of known examples) in that regard. Touch of corner and edge wear the most notable flaw being a small upper left corner crease.
