Description: Rare Willie Mays San Francisco Giants professional model warm up jacket c.1962. Black satin jacket with orange trim displaying its original "Giants" embroidered team insignia on the left sleeve. Proper W.A. Goodman & Sons manufacturer's label inside the tail front with size 50 indicator. Vintage linen strip tag inside the collar area features a period "24" in black marker with an enormous 9" long `black marker signature of Mays positioned on the orange lining underneath adding "1962" inscription. The jacket presents in beautiful original condition displaying evident use throughout. One of the premier game equipment pieces within the Mays Collection that was thoughtfully preserved since its use with Willie's prime career years in San Francisco.
