Description: 1962 Willie Mays San Francisco Giants Cactus League Player of the Year Award. Walnut wooden plaque given to Mays by the Tucson Conquistadors as its first annual recipient honoring the Player of the Year for the Giants' Spring Training season. Conquistadors enamelwork emblem affixed to the top of the plaque with three inscribed brass plates below including Mays' name, titling, and date. 12" tall with a few moderate surface scratches and top insignia medallion was re-attached slightly askew at some point.
