Description: Willie Mays 1960 San Francisco Giants Tour of Japan presentational photo album. Ornate bound presentational album as given to Willie Mays in commemoration of the San Francisco Giants 1960 Tour of Japan baseball exhibition series. The album features beautifully embroidered silk covers with gilt titling featuring (30) original black and white 8"x10" photographs taken during the tour. Subjects include SF Giants team images, stadium photos, candid images of SF Giants and Japan's Yomiuri Giants players, and very fine Willie Mays batting image. Minor handling wear with particular note to the offered example having been presented to the premier member of this important 1960s era Tour.
