Description: June 23, 1950 Willie Mays Minor League Assignment Agreement. Original Assignment Agreement transferring right for Willie Mays' services from the Trenton Giants to the Minneapolis Millers. Mays had quickly excelled with the Trenton club and the New York Giants were ready to advance their star outfielder to the AAA level on his road to the Major Leagues. One page double sided typewritten assignment document memorializing the agreement to transfer Mays from Trenton to Minneapolis signed at the bottom by representatives of the respective teams. Very fine condition with some minor wrinkling to the edges. Includes certificate of provenance from the Willie Mays Collection: EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,500-$3,000)
