Walnut wooden plinth base displays a full-size gilt-painted Rawlings leather glove with “National League All-Star Fielding Team” impressed black lettering. Figural baseball shaped finial dated “1961” affixed in front of diamond shaped wooden backsplash with brass facade having “Rawlings Gold Glove Award” inscribed on front. Brass placard displayed on front of base inscribed, “OF-Willie Mays The Sporting News National League All-Star Fielding Team”.
