Description: Group of (4) Willie Mays Sports Illustrated display pieces c.1960s. Collection of four matted ad framed Sports Illustrated covers and images with relation to Willie Mays. As seen previously within other professional athlete collections the offered framed displays were produced by Sports Illustrated and given to the respective subject. The quartet includes June 4, 1962 cover image, June 27, 1970 cover image denoting Mays' 3,000th Hit, and a large batting image taken at ground level. Three measure 8"x11" and one measures 12"x19.
