Description: 1964 Willie Mays National League Home Run Champion trophy. Original figural trophy as presented to Mays by the San Francisco Baseball Writers in honor of his 1964 NL Home Run championship. White marble base with black painted wooden pedestal having silverplated batter finial on top with inscribed silver plated placard to Mays on front. Light general wear. Mays captured his third career NL Home Run title in 1964 with a total of 47 round trippers. 13" tall.
