Description: Superb Willie Mays 1963 MLB All-Star Game professional model baseball bat (MLB All-Star MVP Award)(PSA/DNA GU 10). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat as specifically made for Willie Mays selection to the 1963 NL All-Star team. Bat measures 35” long and weighs 32.2 ounces retaining very bold manufacturer’s stampings and “1963 All Star Game Mays Cleveland” block letter stampings on the barrel end. Appropriate evident use is visible most notably to the barrel with pronounced grain swelling, cleat marks, and stitching impressions in addition to green rack marks. Faded “24” written on the end of the knob in black marker. The offered bat was one of only a scant few preserved within the Mays collection and relates to his MLB All-Star Game MVP performance in 1963, one of two during his career.
