Description: Rare Roger Maris Spalding baseball glove box with glove c.1960s. Rare original box done in highly recognizable Spalding style of the period has "No.1127 Glove, Roger Maris Model" printed on one side. The front has an applied label/decal which offers a portrait image of Maris along with his facsimile signature. Mild general wear includes a few creases/wrinkles and some light age toning. Very seldom offered, especially in this nice level of condition; period Spalding Maris signature model glove from their Most Valuable Player line (model 42-397) which shows some mild age/wear and has what appear to be vestiges of a former owners' name written inside (in an area which is not at all visible when the glove is displayed).
