Description: Willie Stargell professional model baseball bat c.1973-75 (PSA/DNA: GU 8.5). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Stargell facsimile signature in the barrel measures 36" long and weighs 34.8oz. Model number K44 is factory stamped in the knob. Uncracked with nice use including ball contact and stitch marks along with a few bat rack streaks and a touch of grain swelling (due to repeated contact). Light traces of pine tar are on the handle. A choice game bat dating to one of the most productive periods in Stargell's noted career including the 1973 season which ranks among his best offensively. He hit a National League leading (44) home runs that year with (119) RBI and (43) doubles.
