Description: Rawlings and Dr. Pepper advertising display with Mickey Mantle offer c.1960s. Large heavy stock die-cut advertising piece was done to promote a Rawlings Fielder's Glove offer which allowed for a discounted price in exchange for a coupon packaged with Dr. Pepper. "Autographed by Mickey Mantle" is noted at lower left presumably suggesting that the glove would be a Mantle signature model. Displays well measuring approx. 28.5"x23" at extremes (slightly taller however lower flap was intended to be folded up when in use) with few overt flaws aside from a hint of light toning and a crease to the upright die-cut arm. This portion has been reenforced from behind with cardboard. Original easel backing is in place. It appears to have seen little/limited use in the period with flaws noted the result of age/storage. A rare survivor and the first we can recall offering: Technical VG with far superior display qualitiesEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,250)
