Description: Portfolio collection of Bill Walton photographs with related John Wooden autographed and inscribed notes c.1970s. Grouping of seven original black and white 8"x10" images picturing Bill Walton in UCLA uniform with various game action poses. Majority are titled at bottom margins or on the reverse. Some perimeter damage including paper clip residue with a portion having some moisture damage. The images are accompanied by (and found with in the collection) a set of six related paper notes titled "From the desk of" and signed by John Wooden. Wooden has autographed five of the six notes and inscribed each of them with comical inscriptions as they relate to the images of Walton including "Bringing Joy to the Coach" and "Not me He did it!". Signatures range from 8-10 out of 10 with the notes themselves having some paper clip residue on the edges. Very interesting and unique period grouping relating to two of the most iconic figures in NCAA Basketball history.
