"Tailored by Phelps Wilger" manufacturer's label on interior pocket. This style of blazer became well known s Coach John Wooden would require UCLA players to wear them with dress ties and pants in order to project a certain image for the university. Walton's team was not specifically made to wear the jackets by Wooden but remain a visual link to that championship era team.
