Description: 1972 Bill Walton Sugar Bowl Annual Basketball Invitational Tournament trophy. Figural trophy presented to Walton as the outstanding player of the annual basketball tournament so named as the Sam Corenswet Sr. Memorial Trophy. Silverplated two handled loving cup at center with figural basketball player finial at top. Painted black wooden base displays engraved placard on front with titling. 17" tall with scattered wear to the trophy plating and figural may be a period replacement of some type.
