Description:Important 1970 Bill Walton autographed Letter of Intent to UCLA (PSA/DNA 9 MINT). One page typewritten letter of intent which memorialized Bill Walton's agreement to attend UCLA in the Fall of 1970. Walton was a highly lauded prospect at Helix High School and led the team to two California (CIF) championships behind a string of 49 consecutive victories. While heavily sought after, Bill Walton promptly signed by legendary Coach John Wooden to attend UCLA after following them as a young man in high school. The decision led to Walton developing into one of the most dominant players in the history of college basketball earning three Player of the Year Awards and back to back NCAA Championships. The document is signed by Walton in extremely rare full name format, "William T. Walton III". Walton's father, William, counter signed the letter as his guardian and filled out family address information as well. Dated May 1, at bottom with signature of UCLA Athletic Director J.Morgan. Signature rates 9 out of 10 with the letter itself showing only minor age toning to the perimeter areas.
