Description: Roberto Clemente Louisville Slugger Hall of Fame presentational plaque. Prestigious honor as given to Inductees upon election to the National Baseball Hall of Fame by the Hillerich & Bradsby Co. Molded edge walnut wooden plaque with a Roberto Clemente Louisville Slugger 125 model U1 bat attached to the front having custom "Member of Baseball Hall of Fame" impressed on the barrel. Engraved metal placard is affixed to the left end of the display depicting an image of the Hall of Fame. Additional copper medallion of the Louisville Slugger logo and titling plate engraved, "Roberto Clemente Inducted Into Hall of Fame August 6, 1973 Cooperstown, NY" are also affixed to the plaque. Light surface wear to the plaque overall with the engraved copper titling plate having been replaced (exacting to original) due to corrosion. Poignant and significant presentational piece issued in commemoration of Clemente's selection to the game's greatest honor. 38" long.
