Description: Roberto Clemente presentational "Agueybana" figural trophy by Balfour c.1972-73. Fine quality gilt decorated figural metal image of the storied "Great Sun" figure from 1500s Spanish history atop a painted black wooden plinth base. Applied brass placard affixed to base, "Premio-Nacional Codazos Roberto Clemente 1972-73". 14" tall with some patination to the gilt surface and some minor inpainting to the black painted base. Retains Balfour label underneath the base. Includes letter of provenance from the Clemente family: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
