Description: Rare c.1923 Detroit Tigers team signed baseball with Ty Cobb (GD) Red and blue stitched Reach B.Johnson Official American League baseball has been signed by approx. (20) with visible/descernable autographs to include Ty Cobb, Bobby Veach, E.E. Rigney, John Bassler, Rufus Clarke, Harry Heilmann, and Larry Woodall. A second Cobb signature may not be authentic (period clubhouse example). All are done in period fountain pen with a portion having faded to the point of being barely visible and others rating approx. 1/2 to 4/5 out of 10. Ball displays toning and discoloration with some light scattered wear. Exceedingly rare with this being one of a few Tigers balls from this period we have handled: GD ($750-$1,500)Final Bid: $650.00
