Description: 1882 Alexander Cartwright twice signed financial note on the envelope of a business associate (PSA/DNA) (Sigs. EX/MT-NM) Handwritten notation appearing on a toned envelope has been signed twice, "A. J. Cartwright" with the first example appearing in body of the text and the second at close of the statement. Cartwright is recording details of mortgage payments made on behalf of "M. Paiko" who's named is printed on above. All is done in ink rating 8 out of 10. Envelope has some scattered wear and a few additional red ink notations and markings and is authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
