Description: Lot of (4) vintage Lou Gehrig photographs, c.1935-1938 (VG-EX/MT). Incl. 7"x9.25" c.1935 press photo picturing Gehrig with his wife and Sparrow Robertson while in Paris (VG due to minor edge tears); 6"x8" c.1935 press photo picturing Gehrig after signing his 1935 contract (VG-VG/EX due to minor tear at top edge where there is a pinhole); and (2) different 8"x10" c.1938 photos picturing Gehrig while in the movie "Rawhide" (EX-EX/MT, both come with letters of provenance from Patricia Walsh stating that they came directly from their family photo collection. Christy Walsh served as Gehrig's personal business manager). Range: VG-EX/MT
