Significant Pee Wee Reese game used baseball glove c.1955. High quality Rawlings RHT model with anchor web design and top of the line features for the era. Glove exhibits heavy game usage wear including missing manufacturer's tag on backstrap, checking on interior padding, heavy pocket wear and small tear on the backstrap. Vintage number "1" remains on backstrap and Reese has signed the glove on the exterior pinky finger, "My 1955 World Series Glove Pee Wee Reese" in black ink. Reese was the Dodgers fixture up the middle for over (15) years before he would experience the thrill of a World Championship. He was, as always, among the team leaders during the 1955 Series batting .296 with (8) hits and scoring (5) runs. The offered glove was given by Reese directly to a sportswriter who then subsequently sold it to a prominent collector. It has resided in that private collection until its current offering.
