See a Picture of this Item 732a June 4, 1964 Sandy Koufax game used no hitter baseball. Well used Giles NL ball that was used in a game played in Philadelphia on June 4, 1964 between the L.A. Dodgers and the Phila. Phillies with the Dodgers winning 3-0. The ball was signed on a side panelby Koufax in the period and has date with "No Hitter-Phils 3-0" in the orig. recipient's hand. The ball was obtained by a Phila. vendor who caught a foul ball and later had access to the visiting locker room where he had Koufax sign the ball. This was the third of Koufax's four no hit games and is the first that we have had the opportunity to offer. See a Picture of this Item 733 Superb 1958 Sandy Koufax Los Angeles Dodgers home jersey. Cream flannel shirt retains original "Dodgers" blue lettering across chest alongside the legendary #32 in red. Original blue #32 remains on back, taggings on shirt tail include Rawlings w/size tag of 44 next to "Koufax 58" chain stitched in blue. Inside of shirt tail has dry cleaning tag and Set 1 1958 tag. The jersey shows appropriate usage wear with a few tiny holes and some tiny moth "spotting" on back including numbers. Under the left arm is a 1 1/2"x2" hole apparently from a tear that was never repaired. Extroardinary all original condition including buttons and color to nembers and lettering with proper slight age fading. The jersey was originally obtained by the Dodgers head of field maintenance who then gave it to his son. The jersey was later given as a birthday gift to the current consignor who has had it in his posession since 1984. The current consignor had Mr. Kufax sign the jersey across the front at a card show in 1987 and includes a photo of Sandy holding the shirt with the consignor. Undiscovered uniforms of this quality are simply becoming non-existent with this particular shirt ranking as one of the finest we've had the pleasure to offer. Koufax was beginning to come into his own in 1958 with his highest win total thus far in his career at eleven en route to a run of seasons in the 1960's unequaled by any pitcher to date. See a Picture of this Item 761 Superb 1967-1968 Wilt Chamberlain Philadelphia 76'ers home uniform. Without question the centerpiece to the Kosloff collection is the offered uniform worn by Wilt Chamberlain during the 1967-68 season which was his last as a Phila. 76'er. The jersey is white with red and blue trim retaining original #13 on front and back. Wilson tag with size remains on bottom of tail, jersey shows wonderful usage wear while remaining in all original condition. Shorts are matching white with red and blue trim retaining original Wilson tag with size 36 inside waist above chain stitched #13 number tag. Shorts exhibit appropriate usage wear and while it is impossible to know whether Chamberlain wore this pair of shorts during the year at the same time with this jersey we felt it appropriate to keep them together. Among his numerous accomplishments Chamberlain scored his 25,000th point during the season that this jersey was worn and led the Sixers to the Eastern Division Finals before losing to Bill Russell and the Boston Celtics. In addition to winning his fourth league MVP in 1968 he also led the league in assists. The offered uniform represents one of the finest Chamberlain suits extant with regard to condition, rarity, and most importantly provenance.
