Description: Scarce and possibly unique mammoth size Boston Red Sox souvenir pennant c.1910. Enormous original wool pennant measuring 45" in length displays an applique leather baseball player at the left end with "Red Sox" red lettering applied across the front. The body of the pennant is of two piece construction with applied red borders. Remarkably well preserved example given its size and dating period with expected age and handling wear evident throughout including some moth damage to the edges, corner wear, and two small chips to the leather player. First example we have encountered with note to the extreme rarity for this size format: VG-VG/EXEstimated Price Range: ($5,000-$10,000)
