| Description: Tony Gwynn autographed professional model baseball bat c.1991-1997 attributed to hit number 2,726. Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat measures 33" long and weighs 30oz. Gwynn facsimile signature and model number "C267" burned into barrel end. Evident usage wear throughout with deeply embedded stitch marks, ball transfer marks (portion of Rawlings logo visible), and a touch of grain swelling. Knob has been taped for grip and has numerous handwritten notations including "B267, 33-30 1/2, 19, 8/5/97, #2726, HR." Signed on the barrel, "Tony Gwynn" in black marker rating 8/9 out of 10 with additional "#2726" notation. Statistically, Gwynn is one of the best pure hitters that the game has ever produced and at the time of his retirement ranked 17th on the All-Time list in hitting for average. Over (20) years he has won (8) National League batting titles, played in (15) All-Star Games, and won (5) Gold Gloves for his defensive play.
